Why are they making us do this?
I can't believe it. They sound
so proud on their brochure. The organisers, I mean.
Do you know what the union of NP students are doing? THEY ARE MAKING FRESHMEN ATTEND A THREE DAY CAMMPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The first word that pops into my head when I ask myself why they are doing this, is
bonding. Uh, I do not think so! To bond, you have to know the people beforehand. I mean, with a crowd of strangers, do you really think we can make much leeway with conversation? NO!
And...they are people we have never ever clapped our eyes on before. And who knows? We may hate each other on first sight and we still have to camp together and be merry, ye all.
I am not staying overnight.
I am not staying overnight.
I am not staying overnight.
My mother will try to make me, no doubt, because she is a teacher and we all know how freaky-deaky teachers can be about some things, but I can appeal to mon pere and I don't think he will make me do anything I do not want to.
If my mother forces me to stay, I will make The Great Escape. Hahaha.
But seriously! I hate camps. And we do such stupid, childish things and those things are supposed to draw us closer. How can I feel closer to someone when I know they've seen me do the chicken dance and laughed? huh??? Why can't we just have an ordinary orientation thingaling. It's bad enough they'll probaby make us play Whacko. It's bad enough that we have to keep introducing ourselves. It's bad enough that I can see the word 'forfeits' coming up multiple times a day.
i thought the world of you
